Comments:
Our daughter loves this bike because of its low slung seat height option (good for beginners) and easy to peddle gearing (good for beginners and uphill, though not for older kids trying to go fast), not to mention the cool factor from its white and green color. Sales folks say it is equally popular for girls and boys, despite Trek's classifying it as a boys bike.

I bought Jet 20 for my older son (8) last year, and my younger son (6) the Jet 16. They have been excellent for my boys. I will be trading in the jet 16 for the Jet 20 for my younger son this summer.

Comments:
I just bought this bicicle and I know already it will be a durable bike because we have purchased the 16" bike before and after a few years of use, it stills looks pretty good (and I have an active 8 yo boy). This is a handsome bike (green) and my son is very excited with his birthday gift. Now I want to add that my husband and I were very happy with the quality of service we received at my LBS. The salesperson was cordial, patient, and professional. We will definelely come back and recommend the place to friends. Thank you!
Comments:
What a fantastic bike. The grips are nice, the seat is high quality, the padding on the middle bar is top notch. This is the best bike for your money. I compared to Target's bikes, they are cheap and chinsey compared. Spend the extra 50-100 and you won't be disappointed.

Comments:
My 6-year old had grown out of his 16-inch bike, so we decided to get a quality bike for the first one that he'd be taking on streets and hilly trails. This bike is high-quality, easy for him to maneuver, and will fit him for at least two, and maybe three, years. I feel so happy to have such a great bike for him right off, as he's learning to ride for real. I feel good that he'll be on a well-made bike that's ergonomically correct for him. Plus, it looks just fantastic, I must say.

Comments:
We have this bike in 12", 16" and 20" and the problem is the same with the 16 and 20...the chain ring is so small that our kids can't pedal fast enough to keep up on the bike path with their friends who have [...]bikes. The bikes are high quality but become useless pretty fast if you have boys who want to get on with it.
