You'll be sized and fitted for your bicycle by a professional who can address your needs personally. Versus ordering the bicycle, hoping it is the right size and fit for you. Then paying for a fit to get it adjusted and comfortable.

You'll be able to test your new bicycle in person to see how it rides, how it fits and the quality of it. Many of the bicycles that are available online don't have quality parts. You'll know the bicycle is right for you before paying for it and getting it.

A locally bought bicycle is professionally assembled and ready to ride. Versus needing to pay for shipping and the assembly of your new bicycle that is purchased online. Should any of the parts come in damaged or missing, you'll need to address that with the company you bought it from, get the parts and bring them to the store to be installed.
